Asking

We often wish to receive confirmation that a choice is the “right” one

Will ________ contribute to my personal growth or spiritual work?
Is ________ the best option for me?

We seek answers to these types of questions when we are “stuck”
Unsure, perhaps afraid, confused, wondering if something is too big a risk

Usually at these times we can hear all the reasons not to do something – the old negative voices are speaking loud and clear to keep us “safe” and where we are – the identity they “control”

Due to the “chatter” of the voices: the little child, the adopted cultural archetype, the disapproving parent, etc. – we have lost our confidence in moving forward on the divine path

We ask for guidance or a sign from spirit, or our spirit allies/guides

And we ask, and we ask, and we just can’t get a clear answer

So we think we have no guidance

However, IF the answer was a no – it would come through loud and clear – supported by all the negative voices within

And IF the answer was yes, those same voices would work hard to be sure we didn’t hear it.

So, if there is no clear no, be assured that although the voices may be blocking us hearing the yes, we are likely on the right track – move forward, see what develops, see which voice is most insistent – and work to bring it to silence
