We seek to gain knowledge, to understand, to gain insights, to be aware, to have purpose, to serve.

But the only thing that really matters is our inner change – our deep and complete transformation. The letting go of who we think we are, our treasured beliefs, delusions, who we want to be, and actually changing. In folly, we wish to set the conditions of this process. We would prefer to negotiate what we keep and what we release.

We cannot breathe in and out at the same time, and we cannot breathe in until we breathe out.

The challenge is the breathing out of who we are, without reservations, with trust, and thus truly opening the door to change, to real transformation. To becoming a being, that from where we are, we might not recognize.
