We are all tributaries
Emotions generated in the mountains of our psyche surge through us
And flow from each of us, merging into streams
And streams into rivers – rivers of consciousness
Cutting deep into the bedrock of our culture
Exposing more of what is hidden
Washing away the façade
Emotions rise within us in recognition of truth
The streams gather energy
The rivers overflow their banks
No longer held back by the sandbags of delusion
We are caught in the flood and swept away
