Snooze

We live in the small world of who we think we should be, or who we want to be
And from the vast, unconscious, authentic part of ourselves we send invitations to initiation

Wake up calls to resolve trauma, change beliefs, expand potential, engage in shadow work
And become who we truly are
These often start as dreams, synchronicities, or situations and escalate to life dramas, accidents or illness

When a wake-up call comes we are often in distress
So we seek healers, practitioners or doctors
Distress is relieved, symptoms subside

And with their assistance we push the snooze button on the wake-up call
The invitation is ignored and we go back to sleep
An opportunity for transformation to greater authenticity missed

Wise coaches know the importance of working with the timing of wake-up calls
Of staying with the deeper work when the time is ripe, despite life’s commitments and distractions
That auspicious windows of opportunity for healing and deep transformation open and close
And when one opens it is important to seize the opportunity
