The meditative practice of spaciousness – the feeling of being in a very large space and the feeling of that space extending through our physical body – is a potent technique to expand consciousness
It leads us to appreciate the greater expansiveness of who we are – our “unperturbed sky-like nature” – beyond the day-to-day person
There is another aspect of expanded consciousness that seems less well known –referred to here as “surroundedness”
When we sink deeply into ourselves and beyond, via kinesthetic awareness, we can become aware of a faint translucent shimmer at the edge of consciousness – at the edge of spaciousness – surroundedness
The aspect of consciousness that holds all, interconnected

Spaciousness is the screen
Surroundedness is the projector
