On the journey of transformation we focus on healing the traumatized aspects of ourselves and transforming our being as we travel a path to spirit. We heal wounds, cancel or renegotiate old contracts, increase our consciousness and become more resourceful, both in this world and spiritually. We often revisit “issues” and work at deeper and deeper (more subtle) levels as we ride the cycle of transformation.
Even when we have truly completed our work on an issue there remains a signature in our energy field. These signatures no longer hold a “charge” for us, but rather inform us of the paradox of our greatest traumas also being our greatest gifts. They are the signposts of our journey.
Often these signatures are connected in a 3 dimensional web of energy. When life events, like the death of a friend or loved one, or the energy of a place, or the intense incoming cosmic tidal energies resonate with this web it can be very disturbing. It seems as if all the signature issues are suddenly active and thus overwhelming, both physically and emotionally. However what is actually occurring is that the web of energy has been activated and the signatures are simply “caught” in the web.
The matrix of the web is regret.
Regret often has a “life of its own”. Regret is often a common theme throughout many of the signatures of our life. It is subtle, hidden in the fabric of “suffering and “the way life is”. Often it is deep and previously unknown regret, arising from not fully honoring or responding to our spiritual nature. It is this regret that creates the web of energy, and this regret, all aspects of it, that becomes activated. Then – Whew! It may manifest as depression, despair, or many other emotions, however it is regret.
Once recognized, there is the possibility of a level of freedom that was previously elusive – the possibility of being free of the web of regret. The doorway to dispersing and dissolving the web of regret is a purity of grief that goes past anything we usually think of. Diving deeply into pure grief that is so intense and purifying that the energetic structure of the web disperses. We are no longer held in the web, regret fades and our inner presence intensifies and brightens.
Note: perhaps more on the purity of grief in a future article.
